Conceived in Berlin, Prima Materia consists of visual artist Cornelia Pierce and sound designer Daniela Huerta. Together they compose audio-visual narratives involving photography, video, and sound design for multimedia projects and in form of installation and performance art.
Prima Materia is a SHOWstudio contributor, with a recent solo online exhibition at SHOWstudio.com. Other recent projects include a residency with the Goethe institute, and collaborations with musician Lucrecia Dalt and video artist Morgan Beringer. Their performances have been presented at the 4-D sound space of MONOM at Funkhaus Berlin, at Galerie Weisser Elefant and Arkaoda in Berlin.
